I started earning money through surveys in May of 2016 as a way to supplement my income during the slow times of my home based business. A friend of mine read an article online about making money from home featuring Swagbucks and suggested I check it out. At first I didn't really think this would be a viable source of income because it took me a few weeks to figure out what worked for me on the site and what didn't.
Within the first month I made $75 and had signed up with three more survey sites: InstaGC , Survey Junkie, and MintVine ( now Branded Surveys.) Currently, I am a member of over 50 different survey sites/panels. Many of these I found just by googling survey sites or receiving an incentive through another site to join. About half of them I login into daily and the others are by email invitation only. I've also morphed into survey/rebate apps like Quick Thoughts and Ibotta.
I make anywhere between $200-$400 a month, working on this almost full time daily for sometimes up to 10 hours, when I am not pulled away by work obligations. It sounds like a lot of time to spend on a second form of income but the time passes by pretty quick being engaged in all the different ways to earn and completing surveys. It's actually relaxing for me. I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of worker anyway. I really enjoy participating in online focus groups and home product tests. My favorite rewards are Paypal, Amazon , and Walmart. All I can say is surveys have been a lifesaver for me, money wise. It pays my internet, phone, and insurance bills, and has helped immensely with gas and groceries.
My favorite sites right now are OneOpinion, Pinecone Research , and Qmee. What's great about Qmee is they have no minimum cash out threshold. Even just a few cents can be transferred to your PayPal account in an instant! So to sum it up, I would say this does take some trial and error to make it a success. You have to decide which offers, surveys, and tasks work best for you on each site to maximize your earnings. I also highly recommend Survey Police. If you're unsure about a survey site and their reputation, this is a good website to get the latest reviews and experiences from other survey panelists. Here is a printout of some of the most recent payouts I have received in my PayPal account.
