Speak Up Surveys Review Get Paid to Answer Surveys and Test Products.jpg

Yesterday, I reviewed one of the worst survey sites around. Today, I’ll be reviewing another survey site: Speak Up Surveys. Is Speak Up Surveys any good? Well, compared to the site I reviewed yesterday, most definitely. But I’ll admit, the bar was set pretty low by that other site. So let’s try to assess Speak Up Surveys on its own merits. I’ve been using the site for a couple of months now. In this review, I’ll be dishing out what’s good and what’s not-so-good about Speak Up Surveys.

How Long has Speak Up Surveys Been Around?

The site has been around since 2006, but I wouldn’t say they’re the most popular. Still, I appreciate a site that has been around that long. I mean, if you’ve been around for 12 years, there’s less chance of them being a scam, right?

How to Earn Using Speak Up Surveys

The site follows a pretty standard procedure: you sign up, then get survey notifications either by email or on your site dashboard.

Unlike other sites, there’s no pre-screening, which I don’t really like. At first glance, this is great because you can answer any survey you want, but it may end up costing you more time. After you answer a few questions, the site will determine whether you’re qualified to answer the rest of the survey. If you’re not, you get booted out. If you qualify, you answer the rest of the questions and get the specified reward when you’re done.

If answering surveys isn’t your cup of tea, you can also sign up for their trial program, where they send you actual stuff to test!

How to Earn Using Speak Up Surveys

Each survey you complete will earn you anywhere from 5 cents to $2 dollars. I wish I could tell you that you can earn enough for a vacation to the Bahamas or a new BMW, but this is essentially beer money. But that’s alright with me. I have other ventures for big money. Speak Up Surveys is for supplemental income, and I suggest you look at it the same way.

Payment Methods

Speak Up Surveys has a pretty straight-forward payment system. Once you’ve saved $10 in your account, you can request a cash out. You can choose to have your earnings sent either as a $10 gift certificate, a $25 Dining Rough restaurant gift certificate, or credited to your Payoneer Mastercard.

Joining the Site

Anyone 13 years and above can join the site. (A valid email is required, too - but everyone has that already) That’s pretty much the only requirement. I liked that low age requirement. Because if that, I was able to recommend the site to some of my nephews and nieces.

Speak Up Surveys: The Good and Not-So-Good

Now we get to the fun part. I’ll list down what I liked about the site, and what I didn’t. Let’s go!

The Good

Global scope

Anyone from any country can join. I’m an advocate for that sort of thing. I think having more users from a wide range of backgrounds on a site is the way to go.

Low age requirement

Since kids can use the site, you can use it as a teaching tool. Use it to teach them about perseverance and saving their earnings.

The Not-So-Good

No Pre-Screening

As much as I like to complain about other sites not providing enough surveys, Speak Up Survey’s system sucks. I didn’t appreciate starting a survey only to find out I wasn’t qualified. With other sites, you may have to wait a bit for surveys, but when you qualify for one, you know you can actually complete it.

No PayPal

A minor complaint overall, but in 2018 PayPal should be mandatory for all online businesses.

The Verdict: Legit or Scam?

Speak Up Surveys is legit! It’s not the greatest survey site, but it’s pretty solid. If you’re looking for another site to add to the ones you currently use, consider Speak Up Surveys.
