QuickThoughts Review Answer Surveys and Do Tasks for Gift Cards.jpg

For my next review, I’ll be tackling QuickThoughts. I wasn’t sure whether the site was legit or not, so I tried it out myself. I’ll be sharing my experiences and opinions.

So here’s my QuickThoughts review. Wanna know if QuickThoughts is legit? Read on!

How to Earn on QuickThoughts

There are two ways members can earn using this app:

Complete Surveys

These surveys take about 5 to 30 minutes to complete. Nothing out of the ordinary. But what is out of the ordinary is the fact that they will pay you $0.10 if you get disqualified from a survey.

For those new to survey sites and apps, here’s why you get disqualified: sometimes, in the middle of you taking a survey, the site might determine that you don’t fit the correct demographic for the survey. Or maybe the site reached its quota of answers. Either way, you still get disqualified. In other sites, all you can do after is hope to get another survey you can actually complete. On QuickThoughts, you get a ten cent consolation. It’s not a huge amount, but I still appreciate it.

Oh, and it’s worth pointing out that some of these surveys are Flash-based. Why the app still uses Flash is beyond me; most modern devices no longer support it.

Location-Based Tasks

These include tasks that you need to be physically present to do. They might include taking photos of storefronts, participating in polls in-person, and doing secret shopper jobs. The jobs vary from location to location. As for me, I never got any of these tasks. None were available in my city during the time I used QuickThoughts.

My Hot Take: The surveys and location-based tasks are okay. But not being able to earn from referrals and sign-up bonuses is not okay. Overall, I would rate the earning methods on QuickThoughts as pretty mediocre.

Earning Potential on QuickThoughts

Surveys pay $0.50 to $3, depending on how long and complex they are. I honestly wouldn’t know how much location-based tasks pay since I never qualified for any - maybe some of you guys can fill me in on that?

My Hot Take: Earning potential for surveys is about average. The amount you make per month will depend on the number of surveys you actually qualify for, but at least you get a ten cent consolation if you get disqualified.

Payout Options on QuickThoughts

When you accumulate a minimum $10 in earnings, you can request a payout. QuickThoughts doesn’t offer cash payouts - gift cards only. And the type of card you can get will depend on the operating system of your device. If you’re using the app on iOS, you get an iTunes card. If Android, you get an Amazon card.

My Hot Take: Man, it sucks not having a cash option. I can usually pass on gift cards, but a cash option is a non-negotiable for me.

How to Join

If you’d like to try QuickThoughts yourself, you can visit their site and download the app on your smartphone. Currently, registration is done via the mobile app, not website. Links are below. Ka-chow:

Website: https://www.quickthoughtsapp.com
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quickthoughts-take-surveys/id589328270
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.surveysampling.mobile.quickthoughts&hl=en&gl=us

The Verdict: Legit or Scam?

QuickThoughts is legit, but not very exciting to use. The absence of a referral program and bonus earnings is already bad, but the lack of a cash option for payouts makes this site easy to pass on.
