So this site is called Prolific, to make money you complete surveys, I have always found these surveys interesting, always the correct time frame to complete surveys. Some of the surveys are sent to you via e-mail & some you need to log into your account, I log in every day to check for the studies (surveys). When you complete a study, the payment will go into your pending account straight away when it's been verified you sometimes get an email to say it's been accepted, see a screenshot of one of these e-mails. Once you have reached £20 * (more details below) then you can cash out and it's to Paypal or Circle, you can edit your preferred payment method, I use Paypal & have always received it within 4 working days but usually less, this site is definitely LEGIT!!!

How do I get paid?
Prolific pays with PayPal or Circle.

Once your first study is completed, your first submissions needs to be approved by a researcher - which is usually within 1-3 days and can be longer. The waiting period is purposed there for quality control purposes. After 21 days has passed, Prolific will auto-approve submissions for a study if there has been no recourse by researchers.

The first payment threshold is £5. To lessen fees, hold off until you have collected £20. If you do this, you can avoid fees if you're in the UK/US by cashing out with Circle. If you cash out below this amount, any Circle cashouts are charged 1% + a 10p fee. Cashouts with Paypal are charged the standard Paypal fee, which is 2.9% + 20p.

To cash out, click the "Get Paid" button on your account. It generally takes around 48 hours for the cash out request to be processed. Please be sure to carefully select the right option you want between Circle/Paypal and enter your email correctly, as mistakes can cause hold-ups with your cashout.

Extra Information...

When you join you are issued with a Prolific ID number which you have to copy at the start of the study since it will ask you to input it in at some point during the study. So when you sign up you have 3 tabs at the top left, the first is studies, the second is submissions which are the studies you have completed, then the third is about you, where you answer lots of questions about you to get surveys that are more relevant to you, these questions are quick and easy to complete, took me about 10 minutes to get to 100%. Then in the top left of the site you have 2 tabs, the first is Legacy, to be honest, I'm not too sure what this is for as when clicked on it just takes me to the old version of the site, then you have support, which I think is self-explanatory, then you have a little envelope which is your mail, next to that is the amount payable to you, so what you've earn't so far, after that is a drop down menu where you can change your settings and preferences.

Earn rewards by telling others about Prolific!
  1. Refer a participant and earn 10% of their first cash out on Prolific. For example, if they cash out with £50 we will credit your account with £5!
  2. Refer a researcher and we will split 10% of the total value of their first study between you and the researcher you refer. For example, if they run a study worth £1,000, we will split £100 between you as a reward.
If you would like to join, please use this link - https://www.prolific.ac/p?ref=LXXIF2OS. My referral code is LXXIF2OS, if you join using my link let me know so I can help you with any problems or if you have any questions about the site I would be available to assist you.

What kind of experience have you had with Prolific????, let us know!!!!

Great review. Personally never heard of Prolific. Are they geo reatricted, because I notice you mention all payouts in pounds.

Not sure what you mean by geo restricted I'm assuming you mean different countries??, yes all the studies I have done have all be in £1, whether this matters if you're in a different country I'm not sure, as it is paypal so it would convert but all I can say is try signing up and see.

Yes, I meant if it's open to signup to Prolific from other countries besides the UK. I just visited Prolific and see this.

So looks like it's open, but wonder if they have inventory for me. Will give it a shot later.

I consider myself a person with little time using the Prolific platform, although the studies are not very frequent, each one is very well paid. They regularly request additional information to be eligible in their studies. I think it's a promising platform, in a single survey that I recently made, the payment was £ 5, I had never won that amount in a single survey, at least for me, impressive. It is worth exploring this site, something different from the others for their good payments.

I love prolific. I usually wait till I have £20 before taking it out with paypal.

They send me emails every time there is a study available, I am rarely disqualified, unless its because the study has filled up. I don't think I have ever had a study last longer than 10 minutes, I have been very lucky to qualify for studies of over £5, this was one that was 3 surveys over 3 weeks. But these are rare. They are easy to do and have been fun. I would really recommend this site, although it may take a little while to build up to £20, the £5 is easily achievable

I find that prolific us a kind of hit and miss site some weeks there seems to be a lot of surveys then weeks without any. Payments from them are on Tuesday and Friday minimum £ 5 paid in to PayPal but you have to remember to cash out yourself either Monday night or Thursday night i haven't had any issues at all
