MindField Online Speak Your Mind and Earn Cash!.jpg

Among the different ways to make money online, survey sites were the ones I was most skeptical about at first. For starters, why on earth would a site want me to fill out surveys? Were they trying to secretly gather my data or install some sort of malware in my laptop? Sure, they offer cash in return for my participation, but those rewards often come across as bait.

Well, it turns out they’re completely legit… or most of them are. Survey sites provide a valuable service to companies doing market research. Those companies hire the survey site to send out surveys to their members. Those members, in turn, get paid by the survey site for completing those surveys. Win-win… or win-win-win, rather.

I’ve tried a lot of survey sites, and have a pretty good feel for what makes one legit or a scam. Today, I’ll be giving you my MindField Online review. I know there are already a few MindField reviews elsewhere on the interwebs, but here’s mine.

First Impressions

My first impression of MindField Online was pretty good. The design was boring, but at least there was no shortage of information relating to their business. So plus points for that. One thing I didn’t like, though, was the excessive use of stock photos. It may seem shallow for me to call them out on this, but I have a hard time trust a company 100% when it has an over-reliance on stock photos. It looks like they’re hiding something. Well, are they? Read on!

How Can I Earn on MindField Online?

You take surveys and you earn cash - it’s that simple!

But of course, that’s not all there is to it. For starters, anyone 15 years old and above can join the site.

After you register you’ll have to fill out a few Member Questionnaires. Filling out the questionnaires is completely optional, but don’t mix it up with surveys. You won’t get paid for completing those questionnaires. But don’t skip this step, because it’s really important.

The info the site gets from those questionnaires will help them assign surveys to you. See, some surveys may not suit certain demographics. I love design and organization, which is why the site doesn’t assign me surveys that involve topics like politics or business planning.

Earning Potential on MindField Online

The site will send you notifications via email when there are surveys for you to take. There were weeks when I hardly got any surveys. So my earnings weren’t that good.

For what it’s worth, MindField does have a referral system. You will earn $1 when one of your recruits completes their first survey.

Payout Options

You can only get your earnings via PayPal or cheque. PayPal payouts are processed within 5 to 10 days. Cheques will take up to six weeks for delivery.

Do note that there’s a $5 minimum cashout. It’s not a super high amount, but you will still have to do a bit of saving up to be able to withdraw your earnings.

MindField Online: What’s Good, and What Sucks

Here’s a quick list of things I thought were good about the site… and things I thought flat-out sucked.

What’s Good

Low minimum withdrawal - $5 isn’t to restrictive an amount. I like that!

What Sucks

Getting booted out of surveys - It’s frustrating to be in the middle of taking a survey, then all of a sudden you get disqualified from completing it! The site claims they do that when either they’ve accumulated enough data overall, or that they learn you aren’t qualified to take the survey. If that were the case, why did they let you take it in the first place? This system has to go!

Long payment processing time - I get it; snail mail takes longer. But six weeks? And ten days for PayPal? I don’t like having to wait that long to get my earnings - especially since my earnings on this site aren’t that high anyway.

They close new sign-ups periodically - Who knows why they do this. Maybe they run out of clients? Either way, it’s not a very good sign when a survey site is dormant.

The Verdict: Legit or Scam?

MindField Online is legit… but not the best option out there. There are sites that actually pay you even if they disqualify you from completing a survey. But MindField Online doesn’t have the best user experience out there.

I signed up with MindField Online just last August. Even though I wasn’t familiar with it the same way I was with the reputation of Swagbucks and GrabPoints , I decided to take a gamble because it’s supposed to be backed by a big name in data collecting and market research with an impressive history and roster of partner-clients.

My experience with MindField Online in bite-sized pieces:
  • I managed to earn a bit of money from the surveys, and also the equivalent of loose change from their referral system.
  • Payment took a couple of weeks, which was vexing because working towards the $5 minimum withdrawal took some time as well. Even with a PayPal payment option.
  • I didn’t have luck with their sweepstakes so decided to focus on answering surveys.
  • Half the time, I got disqualified from the surveys!
  • I like that they have an app for iPhone users. However, this bit of technological advancement is kind of moot if you don’t qualify for most of their surveys.
So in conclusion, I think MindField Online is legit, but is burdened with the same kind of issues that most paid survey sites seem to have (including hard-to-qualify-for surveys and slow payment processing).

@June great mindfield online review and my experience with them was very similar. I signed up and gave them a try ( I sign up to almost all sites just so I don't miss out in case I find some golden nugget) but I was turned off by the extremely slow payment processing, I was able to do some surveys ( got disqualified quite a lot as well)

I wasn't able to try the mindfield online app since I am a android user but to be honest I just stopped using them. There are better survey and GPT sites out there where you can make more money with less time ( and you won't have to wait so long for your payout). I think its pretty standard now to pay out within a few days max ( some even do instant payouts nowadays). They are legit but they are not the best ones out there thats for sure. I might give them another try in the near future but for now I am working with other providers.
