I’ve encountered a few specialized survey sites. There are a few that tackle music and entertainment. But now we’ll be talking about Medical Advisory Board. which tackles medicine. I believe this is the only time I’ve encountered that specializes in medical surveys. Based on initial info, only medical practitioners can register. But it doesn’t seem to be the case (I’ll be talking about that in the How to Join section of this review)
Anyway, let’s get down to business. Have you ever wondered if Medical Advisory Board is legit? Read my Medical Advisory Board review to find out!
Medical Advisory Board: First Impressions
The site looks super-professional. In fact, if I didn’t know I was visiting a survey site, I’d swear this was a website of a hospital or clinic. And it makes sense - the surveys provided by the site cover medical and health practices. There’s also no shortage of information about the company here. As you would expect from a company that operates in the medical field, everything is above-board.
My Hot Take: Overall, a very positive first impression. I think many survey sites - even those that don’t operate in the medical field - can learn a thing or two about making a great website.
How to Earn on Medical Advisory Board
The sole money-earning method on the site is by answering surveys. Medical Advisory Board gives members the opportunity to influence the healthcare industry like never before. By answering surveys, members can influence how giant corporations conduct their business.
It’s a great opportunity that few other survey sites provide!
My Hot Take: The earning methods on the site are somewhat limited. No micro-tasks, no referrals, but I’m not sure if those are relevant to a site related to the healtcare industry. So I won’t count that against the site. Keep in mind that this is a specialized survey site.
Earning Potential on Medical Advisory Board
On Medical Advisory Board, 1 point = 1 cent. On average, surveys pay around 10 points each. So it’s pretty average. But the real money is with the more complex surveys - those can pay a whopping 1,000 to 7,000 points each. Of course, those surveys are extremely specialized.
My Hot Take: Overall, earning potential on Medical Advisory Board is pretty good. You need to have the appropriate skills and background for the upper-tier surveys.
Payout Options on Medical Advisory Board
When you’ve earned a minimum of 2,500 points, you can request a payout. You can get your earnings as cash (sent via PayPal), cheque, sweepstakes entries, or donate your earnings to charity.
My Hot Take: 2,500 is a pretty high minimum withdrawal. But your earnings will also be high on the site, so it all evens out. Still, I need to warn you about that. Be prepared, manage your expectations, and you should be good.
How to Join Medical Advisory Board
Memberships are open to healthcare professionals ages 18 and above only, which is understandable given the specialized nature of these surveys. Now, here’s the funny part - according to their FAQ, you don’t actually have to be one! So which is which? Personally, I would only recommend this site to actual professionals, but no harm trying, right?
If you fit that criteria, you can register by following the link to their registration page. Ka-chow:
