I see that GrabPoints has been reviewed on several threads on ETB before but that is okay. I still want to weigh in based on my personal experience. None of the money-making methods I share here on this forum will make you a Zuckerberg-level zillionaire, but they’re pretty good for supplementing your income. (I happen to like spending my earnings on an ice-cold six-pack of Coronas every weekend, but feel free to replace “beer” with pizza or whatever you like.)
Here’s hoping you pick up some helpful info on earning a few extra bucks on the side. I will also be reviewing a bunch of money-making websites and telling which are scams and which are legit. Today, we’ll be checking out GrabPoints. I heard a bunch of good things about GrabPoints on the interwebs, including the fact that they are the highest-paying survey site around.
The Highest-paying Site Around?!
As you would expect, their claim to be the highest-paying survey site on the internet caught my attention. They have a comparison chart that shows potential GrabPoints earnings beside the equivalent earnings on other sites. GrabPoints pays higher than other well-known sites such as Swagbucks and PrizeRebel . It looks good on paper, but I had to find out for myself if the hype was real!
First Impressions
A well-designed website is always important. And that’s not me being shallow or trivial. When it comes to websites, I look at them like restaurants: if the visible area is crap, imagine what it must be like behind the scenes. If a website looks sketchy, well, there’s a chance that it really is.
But no worries here, GrabPoints looks pretty ace. The design is simple but clean. And most importantly, info on how you can earn on the site is easily findable via their FAQ. Even non-members can view this information, which is always a good sign. A large portion of their home page is also dedicated to user testimonials, and as you would imagine, they’re all glowing reviews.
So, an excellent first impression. But what is it like to actually use the site? Read on!
How To Earn On Grabpoints
TL;DR Version:
Do easy tasks, earn points, use points to redeem cash or other rewards. Buy beer. The end.
In-depth Version:
Usually, there are five tasks you can do to earn points:
1.Answer Surveys
2.Watch Videos
3.Complete Offers
4.Play Games
5.Download Apps
Once you’ve accumulated at least $2 worth of points, you can request a payout. You can get your earnings either as cash or as a variety of gift cards or digital currencies. Seriously, GrabPoints rewards catalog is pretty extensive!
When you become a member (which I’ll be discussing in a bit), the tasks that are available for you to take will be easily viewable on your profile page or dashboard. You’ll know right off the bat how many points
The great thing about these money-making methods is that they’re things you usually do online anyways. Anyone with an internet connection would have already answered a survey or watched videos somewhere. The same goes for availing of offers, playing games, and downloading apps on your mobile phone. So it’s not like you need to learn a new skill or do something super-complicated.
Whenever I’m in the checkout line at the grocery or waiting for my daughter to finish her muay thai lessons, I whip out my phone, start doing tasks, and start earning.
You’re probably wondering why you’re getting rewarded for doing these tasks. Well, these tasks are commissioned by advertisers, app developers, and media companies. They hire GrabPoints to make them available to members. Surveys are used for market research. The other tasks may be used to drum up interest or increase certain metrics like the number of views and downloads.
GrabPoints, in turn, incentivizes its members to take these tasks by offering points.
The Referral Program
To encourage members to spread the word about GrabPoints, the company has a pretty kickass referral program. You’ll earn one point for every friend that signs on with GrabPoints. You will also earn bonus points when your recruits earn their first 1,000 points!
When I started, GrabPoints didn’t have an automated method for tracking referrals. But a couple of months ago, the site started rolling out just that. You will get a referral code that your recruits can use when they sign-up. The site will automatically track your referrals through this code. This development is pretty awesome and shows how the owners are continuously looking for ways to improve the experience of their members.
You can also earn 100 points every time you promote the site on social media, forums, or YouTube. There are some specific requirements for these points to count, like adding the GrabPoints URL.
Are They Really The Highest-paying Site?
Short answer: yes! Their rates really are higher than those on other sites.
You can earn anywhere from 2 to a whopping 47,000 points for each completed task. But take note that higher-paying tasks involve a bit more effort and may require you to sign up for a trial service. One thousand points are convertible to $1, so keep that in mind when picking tasks.
Long answer: still yes, but your monthly earnings will depend on two things: the amount of time you can dedicate to doing these tasks and the number of tasks you actually qualify for. Yup, some of these tasks, specifically the surveys, target a particular demographic. When you take a survey, you may have to answer a few pre-qualifying questions first. For example, if the survey is about alcohol, non-alcohol drinkers may be disqualified from taking it.
I want to manage your expectations: even if their rates are higher than everyone else’s, you won’t be getting rich this way. And that’s okay; that’s not what survey sites are for. While GrabPoints does show you how much they pay compared to other sites, they don’t try to impress you with all these unreasonable promises and too-good-to-be-true offers. So set your expectations accordingly, and you’re bound to be pleased when it’s time to request a payout.
Payout Options
This is where it gets fun! For starters, I mentioned a while ago that they have $2 minimum cashout. That amount is super-low compared to other sites. I’ve seen sites that require you to accumulate anywhere from five to ten, even thirty, dollars before you can withdraw your earnings. GrabPoints’ low payout minimum gives you a lot of flexibility.
You can choose to redeem your earnings as cash (which is sent via PayPal) or through a variety of rewards or gift cards. GrabPoints has a lot of options for you. I’m usually a cash-only guy, but even I get tempted to check out their extensive rewards catalog. At the time of this writing, here are some of their available rewards:
Amazon Gift Cards
iTunes Redemption Codes
Google Play Store Gift Codes
Google Play
Steam Wallet Claim Codes
V-Bucks
Robux
PlayStation Plus Codes
Xbox Redemption Codes
… and believe it or not, that’s just the tip of the iceberg! There are loads more ways to redeem your earnings. Once you register, you can check out the GrabPoints catalog for all the awesome stuff you can avail of.
Processing for both cash and other methods takes about three days.
How To Join
Membership is open to anyone with a stable internet connection, smartphone, and computer. The site doesn’t require any specific qualifications, but I do think good English reading comprehension is a must here. The tasks you’ll be doing will involve a lot of reading and following directions.
To register, simply head over to the GrabPoints site. The registration form is right there on the homepage. If you have an invite code, enter it to earn 500 free points!
You can start doing tasks as soon as you complete your profile.
Registration is free, which is a sign that the site is legit. Some scam sites will require payment upfront, and then suddenly disappear or make it difficult for you to redeem your earnings.
The Verdict: Legit Or Scam?
GrabPoints is absolutely legit! This review pretty much covers what’s good about GrabPoints, but it’s worth repeating that everything about the site – from its design, tasks, payout methods, and referral program – is awesome. And yes, they really do pay higher than everyone else.
GrabPoints is highly recommended! If you’re like me and you use different survey sites, GrabPoints is worth bumping up into your regular rotation. Give ‘em a go – you’ll thank me for it.

This review is based on my own experiences completing tasks and earning rewards on GrabPoints. Now it’s your turn to share! Have you tried out GrabPoints? What was your overall experience like?
