I love finding deals. As much as possible, I try to buy things at deep discounts, or in bulk to save money. I don’t consider myself stingy; times are tough, and you gotta save whenever you can!
While talking to some fellow deal-hunters, I learned about Dealspotr. The site doesn’t just list great deals, it also rewards you for interacting and sharing. I was hooked!
If you love a good deal, I suggest you give Dealspotr a try. Below is a review of this site.
Introducing Dealspotr
Dealspotr is a rewards platform that looks like a social media site. It has some of the features we commonly associate with sites like Facebook and Instagram, including a real-time feed. Except, instead of selfies and pictures of people’s lunches, your Dealspotr feed will show all freshest deal and discounts.
In that regard, Dealspotr is like the Facebook for deals.
And again, similar to social media sites, you can follow particular brands, interests, companies, and even people (aka “influencers”). I strongly suggest you do this first, so your feed fills up with only things that you’re actually interested in.
I share and post stuff the same way I do on Facebook. Whenever I find a deal I think my friends and followers would find useful, I share it right away.
How to Earn on Dealspotr
Being a member of the Dealspotr community gives you the opportunity to earn rewards for a variety of activities on the website. Most of this will include sharing, liking (“spotting”) and commenting on deals. You can also get rewards for following people, reporting expired or fraudulent deals, and referring your friends to the site.
If you have a blog or a social media following, you can become a Dealspotr influencer. This status opens up even more earnings for you.
You also get points for voting on what you think is the best deal of the day. Whenever you vote for a deal that gets the most overall votes that day, you win points. Here’s the cool part: the longer you’ve been on the site, the more votes you get. This increases your chances of winning points!
The site also has a list of miscellaneous tasks that you can do to earn points. This list is updated daily.
How to Redeem Your Points
Currently, you can only redeem your points as Amazon gift cards. You can redeem a $10 gift card for every 10,000 Dealspotr points you have. It usually takes 48 hours for your Amazon gift card to appear in your email inbox.
I don’t mind the limited redemption option that much, because I usually shop on Amazon. But I’m sure other people would appreciate it if Dealspotr offered a cash payout option. Fingers crossed that they do this, because the site is awesome overall.
What Makes Dealspotr Good
Dealspotr is one of the easiest rewards sites to use. I think this is because it closely resembles a social media site, which puts a premium on usability. I think the Dealspotr feed is one of the coolest features on the site. With the feed, I get continuous updates on the deals I should be checking out.
When I first joined the site, I got too excited and started liking a bunch of stuff I wasn’t really interested in. That resulted in a feed that was clogged with stuff I didn’t need. I would definitely recommend you don’t go trigger-happy with liking. Only like stuff you really care about.
But by far the best think about Dealspotr is that it’s just fun. There’s a strong community vibe on Dealspotr. People always share things they think friends would like. We’re all united by our love for deals!
The Verdict: Legit or Scam?
Dealspotr is legit! The site is a lot of fun to use, has an awesome community, and is a great way to share and discover deals. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, Dealspotr has become even better than Facebook for finding out about new deals and discounts.
It may take a while for you to accumulate points, but at least you’ll have an enjoyable time while you’re at it.
