Today, I am going to discuss and review the legitimacy of ClixSense , a GPT website popular among extra income seekers needing a quick buck. It’s just one in hundreds of reward sites and apps offering a way to make extra income, so of course, you would want some reassurance that it’s not another scam. So without further ado, let’s investigate what it offers and see if and how it could make you some extra cash.

First things first - what is it?

It’s an online rewards website. It’s for job seekers like you and me looking to make some extra cash on the side by participating in their clients’ market research. You can make money with them either by taking free paid surveys or by receiving up to 30% of the earnings of your referrals.

How long has it been around?

ClixSense was founded in February 2007. Eventually, they changed their business model to accommodate more ways to make money, such as with referrals, paid surveys (one of their more popular options), cash offers for watching videos and signing up on sites and completing different tasks.

Does it pay well?

In their home and About Me pages, ClixSense claims to have paid out more than $32 million (and growing) to its members by far. Payments are in US dollars and are issued via electronic cashouts like Payoneer, Tango Card, Payza, and Skrill.

As described in their FAQ, you can earn anything between a couple of cents to several dollars per completed task - depending on how easy or complicated it is. There is a promise of “unlimited earnings potential”, though for you to actually unlock that, you will have to work extra hard on more complicated tasks. More money can be earned if you make more referrals, and if your referrals, in turn, complete their tasks. It really depends on a lot of circumstances.

Is registration free?

It is totally free. Signing up is easy. You simply need to enter your name, a verifiable email address, and a new password. You are also encouraged to install ClixAddOn, which can help you keep track of your account status, as well as get the newly available survey or task notifications. Also, you will need to complete your Survey Profile so that ClixSense will be able to use it for better survey tasking.

How do I start earning extra income right away from ClixSense?

You can win $10 instantly just by playing ClixGrid, a grid-based game for members. You are allowed to play 30 times a day. It requires just randomly clicking on the grids of the image so it’s really all about luck and chance. There’s a daily list of instant winners under a tab in case you’re wondering if it’s fake.

Take note: this is the only game on the website where you can actually earn money - all the other games in there are simply for entertainment purposes with no financial rewards.

How do I make money from completing surveys?

The first survey you will complete has a lot to do with how qualified you are for completing other surveys. It’s important to answer honestly and with consistency, because the site can detect if your answers are inconsistent, which can affect your earnings in turn.

Most of the surveys are demographically and geographically targeted, as well, which is why it’s best to fill out your Survey Profile as thoroughly as you can. This means the pay rate also depends upon your location, because surveys for developed countries are more numerous and can earn up to $5 each, compared to developing ones which are more scarce and can only earn members a maximum of $2.50 per completed survey.

According to ClixSense, surveys are “not always available and you will not always qualify for one”, but they encourage you to keep trying.

What could be the reason I haven’t been credited for surveys yet?

You can always see your current earnings by month and year in your account, and what you’ve earned in the previous month or year. If you think you’re due or overdue to receive money from ClixSense and haven’t, there are a number of possible reasons for that. One is that you may have clicked on a red flag survey, which upfront tells members that payment will be made 30 days after completion (other regular tasks credit pay almost immediately).

You can also check on your survey status, which can tell you if you have successfully completed the survey, or you were “screened out” while trying to finish a survey - this means you did not match the survey requirements and were therefore deemed ineligible for it. Other reasons for not getting credit for a survey include a full quota, meaning there were enough participants in the survey and you didn’t make the cut-off, or they closed off the survey altogether before you can even participate.

The verdict?

So is ClixSense a legit way to make extra money? My answer would be yes, based on the many trusted money-making platform reviewers who are current members and who can vouch for its legitimacy.

But would it be something I will recommend quitting a regular-paying gig to become a full-time thing? Nope, not at all. The wait time for cashout can be chafing - usually within 4-5 business days but with the possibility of delays of up to 15 days! I personally think it’s a good way to make a bit of cash in-between more fulfilling and faster-paying freelance work, but not anything beyond that.

I go to clixsense daily and complete the daily checklist. I cashed out last year for the first time by check because that was the rule. Now I have over $20 plus and I am building it daily. Saving it for a rainy day or holiday shopping. I know its a long way from the holidays but I think outside the box :)

Clixsense is one of the easiest & most reliable ways to earn some money online. It's been online since 2007 & boasts more than 8 million members. I've been using it for a while & earned around $50, mostly from surveys. Since I'm from India, my qualification rate is quite low. So, I've to be patient. There are paid tasks too, but they don't pay well. The referral program is very good- you get 20% commission, but getting referrals is quite difficult. There is also a bonus system which I think is quite unique.

Member of clixsense since 2015 until now very reliable site. Clixsense the only first site that we can have qualify surveys since we live in the country that are limited surveys.Have been completed the offers many times including the surveys some of them are very enjoyable and short. Its worthy of time sometimes ?
The support is very helpful and in time when we need an assistance. We love clixsense still.

Clixsense is a trusted site, regardless of the values paid for each transaction. These payments make ClixSense one of the best extra income sites for me.
The payments are always processed with agility and with an average deadline of 5 days.
One of the biggest sources of income is the tasks, despite paying little, as the level is expanded, quick tasks and great profitability arise. In the tasks you just need to read the instructions and follow the tips.
Surveys are one of the most exploited sources of income on the site, but few can actually be finished. Whenever I have time, I do the research, the rate of approval is roughly 30%, which already guarantees a good profitability. It is important to mention that not being approved for one or another search is normal on the site.

Clixsense is really a great site when it comes to filling out surveys and getting paid for it. Surveys are really a lot and quietly almost every month you can get a minimum payout of $ 10 and without recommending this site. Of course, the referral system and the commission for their participation in conducting surveys makes it easier. The commission is 20% so it is high. In my country you can request payouts on Skrill and Payoneer. The site works for a long time and despite many changes it is still noteworthy. In the month of May, I received two payments from this site, which you can see. In addition to surveys there are also many offers and tasks.

I still need some time to test it. I don't seemed to be able to answer a lot of surveys from Clixsense. I have already registered quite some time ago in this site too.

Clixsense is a great way to make supplemental income. I've been with them for years, and they have always paid on time, and I've never had a problem with them at all. I've been paid numerous times from them, and it's just an all around great site to be a part of. Yes, you can potentially make $10.00 an hour with them, but you have to put in the work to actually doing it, and you have to know what to do to PUT in the WORK on the site. NO, you won't qualify for every survey, but there's so much a person can do, that doing surveys becomes a thing of the past. For a minute, they had PTC, but they had to do away with it, and I understand. Then Payza started tripping, then they had to let go of Paypal because THEY were trippin' as well. But, they may have been knocked down, but they aren't out. They will be around for a while, and things will only get better.

i had been a user of Clixsense for quite a while, now to be honest with u im even surprised that they are still paying off all members untill now since usually most of the time such websites tend to get some of the user to pay for premuim and then after making a good profit they just close their website, but take it from me they do pay... though going for premuim will save you a considerable amount of time since u'll be getting more off refferals (people that u invite to the website using your link) also u get more money out of a click and more ads to click per day... this can take max 15mins/day to complete... more than we waste watching non sense videos on youtube and scrolling on media. anyways wish u best of luck earningThatBuck <3

I currently use ClixSense, too. I have been using it for almost a month now. Personally, I find it to be one of the lower payout site that I use. I don't qualify for surveys very often on here and they don't have very high payouts compared to some other sites.

I tried the tasks as well and honestly, for all the work you have to do on them they don't pay very much AT ALL - I have a feeling whatever company (CrowdFlower I believe it was called & it's called Figure 8 now) is contracting users out to do these tasks is making quite a bit of money off of the work being done for them by us the participants. I also have a hard time getting the right "Accuracy" on tasks - even when I know the answers I have given are absolutely correct. There have even been times when they have compared what they consider "right" answers to my task answers and their answers are definitely not quite correct - especially on the transcribing tasks. My boyfriend is a DJ and I use his stereo sound equipment when listening to the audio for the transcription and I know what I typed in was correct and what they said was correct was definitely not... But I guess, in the end, what they consider the right answer is the right answer. I have also been trying to watch the videos for a few extra cents, but my account doesn't ever seem to get credited correctly for the Smores TV videos I have watched. I am attaching my 1st months payout information here - I haven't even cleared a dollar yet. Now, I don't spend a whole lot of time on this site currently, but that's because for my time and effort there are a few other sites that definitely pay better and more often. Prize Rebel is one I would highly recommend.

So yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about this site currently. It's not at the top of my list of sites to visit at the moment, that's for sure.
