AyuWage Review Get Paid to Surf.jpg

When I first discovered the wonders of the Internet as a teen, I remember thinking “I wish there was a job that would pay me to do this all day.” Fast-forward to today, and what do you know? Here’s that job! Now, hundreds (maybe even thousands?) of GPT and paid survey sites are compensating people like us for our time, effort, and opinions with different rewards like cash and gift cards. I say, bring on the future for better income via the Internet!

In this AyuWage review, I will focus on what makes it a legit GPT site, or if there’s a potential for it to be a scam website. I have read comments in this forum about how most GPT and paid survey sites are usually just open to users from the UK and USA, but this one got my attention because there seem to be no country restrictions (at least at first glance) for membership. With that in mind, join me as we take a closer look at what AyuWage has to offer all of us.

First things first - what is it?

AyuWage is a GPT website offering users ways to earn via activities you usually do online for free. These activities include surfing websites, answering surveys, and doing small tasks.

It’s an unusual name for a GPT, but the site explains it this way: “Ayu” is a shortened version of the Japanese word “ayumi”, which means progress, a step, or walking. “Wage” of course means a payment, so I personally read it as getting paid to progress - which is a pretty neat way to put it. (Also, woohoo, I feel like a budding linguist!)

How long has it been around?

It’s been around since 2009. AyuWage started as “a small online business”, but decided to expand due to their frustration with how most online businesses don’t really progress. The company aims to find innovative ways for users to earn more with their GPT platform, promising a “growing” experience, with never a dull moment in-between.

At the moment, there is no way of telling where the site holds office, as there’s no information in that regard in the About Us or Contact Us pages.

Does it pay well?

An AyuWage cashout redemption promises to be quick and easy, with a minimum of $5 via PayPal. In my honest opinion, that already is already one way of getting paid “well” (there are other GPT sites that require anywhere between $25-$30 in your account before you can cash out). But getting to $5 might be another thing altogether.

To break down how much you can possibly earn with AyuWage tasks:
  • Browse through websites - you have to visit the site and wait for it to load completely before you can get credited. There are different ways to earn with this task: go to the wait and wait to load (credits to around a tenth of a cent), stick around for at least 20 seconds on the site, click on different pages on the site - not the homepage! - and click on any link or content that catches your fancy, or explore the site fully (credits to anywhere between 15-30 cents, full instructions are available in the AyuWage toolbar found in the user page).
  • Do surveys - pretty similar to what you do with paid survey sites, which is to complete them (credits depending on length and complexity of survey).
  • Perform simple tasks - typically involves doable tasks with other GPTs of a similar nature, including doing upvotes and likes, downloading and installing files, etc. (credits vary according to the task)
  • Browse through email - you will be receiving email from different websites. You have to click on the website link in your inbox, then browse through the website, staying for at least 10 seconds, and clicking on content you like (worth around 30 credits).
There is a “services list” that expounds on how users can expect to get paid at AyuWage, along with how fast you can expect payment, so that should give you a good idea what to expect as a user.

Is registration free?

Yes, it’s free. There are no maintenance fees required.

What’s the best option of earning as a member of AyuWage?

I think I’ve mentioned it several times before, but when it comes to GPT sites, referral programs are my favorite way to earn a passive income. Therefore, I’m recommending it to you as well.

AyuWage wants to reward its members for their loyalty and active usage. There are no limits to the number of referrals you make, and you can make 10% off your active referrals’ earnings!

The verdict?

It seems like signing up with AyuWage only requires an Internet connection and a PayPal email address. Anyone in the world who has these, even with no prior experience to being a member of any GPT sites, can join. I don’t usually come across GPTs that pay you to browse websites, so having that option here to earn points is very welcome, indeed.

One misgiving I have (and that needs a closer investigation) is how a number of users have been complaining about slow or delayed payouts from AyuWage. This is understandably a big issue for those who need their cash ASAP and can’t wait around for a month to get paid a minimum of $5. I hope the site addresses and remedies that quickly before they lose membership confidence.

I just got suspended last week with the reason of using vpn but I'm just always home. I have to search it in google to have an idea. What frustrates me more is that I have almost 9000 credits which is close to the minimum payout.
Ugh that sucks.

Do you have an idea if we are still able to rejoin the site? Someone has asked me.
Was it a full account suspension? Or just a warning? I can't be sure, there's nothing in the terms of services that indicate ex-members can rejoin, just that they monitor closely for VPN use and other proxies.

I could easily make $10 a month with Ayuwage just for clicking ads. They are strict about the length of time you watch them but I never had any problems. You get warnings if you don't stay on the ads long enough and they also send out ads that they tell you not to click. I got caught out once and got a warning for clicking one. If you get 3 warnings your account can be suspended but they normally disappear within 24-48 hours.

The length of time they took to pay was awful. I once had to wait 7 weeks for my payment and contacting support is useless as they never reply. In the end I got fed up and decided to quit but I may go back one day.

Ayuwage was one of the first sites I worked on when I started working online almost 3 years ago. They were much better back then though. I used to make $30 a month from them without too much problems. I stopped working for them when they were not having ads and once I heard that their ads were back I tried working for them again. It had changed so much and there were too few ads that were worth doing. I don't think I could make the same amount of money from them now. I just chalk it up to experience and move on to other sites.

I never tried using my phone to do this site, so I am not sure if it is possible. I always used my laptop to do this site or any of my sites really. Trying to use my mobile for online sites is frustrating for me. I always hit the wrong thing and it is harder to read with the small print.

I just looked through their terms and conditions and can't see anywhere that says you can't use a phone but I seem to remember someone saying on Forumcoin that they didn't get credited from their phone. It's very rare that a pay to click site will allow members to click from a phone.

First off thank you for this ayuwage review it is very detailed! I got on it a couple of months ago because of a friend’s referral who swore it’s a good way to get some extra income on the side. Well i’m all about extra cash haha so sign up i did.

Why i like it

The minimum withdrawal is easy to meet at just 5 dollars using paypal.

Also the tasks are very doable like i can upvote stuff while taking care of my son!

I’ve referred friends who signed up and are doing tasks on ayuwage and i get 10% of their earnings much like the person who previously referred me haha!

I also like that i can just surf, spend 10 seconds on sites and then click on random ads then get paid for it! Again it’s because i can multitask and watch over my baby while doing this so its practically on an auto pilot kind of thing for me you know?

Why i dont like it

The pay isnt much like you’d be lucky to earn a dollar a day here. Still, with the low minimum payment i do still manage to cash out.

But because it doesnt pay as much as my other survey sites so i kind of kept it in the back burner and sometimes forget to log in.

Unfortuntely because i wasnt too active on the site they decided to delete my account :(

I have been reading about this site on different forums and it is interesting that I get to learn more about it on your post.
