Let me ask you – how many apps are currently installed on your mobile phone? Business Insider Intelligence (BI Intelligence), a research service provider, reported that people download an average of 8.8 apps each month. That is a lot of apps, right? Google also had its report, and they revealed that 26% of the apps we install on our phones are used once and then, we ditch it.

Now, what if you can earn a bit of money while downloading apps, watching trailers, and playing games? Some apps will give you cash for the download like AppTrailers. The company behind AppTrailers is AppRedeem, which used to be the app’s name. Doing this won’t entail a massive amount of money in your pocket, but it’s money nonetheless. You’ve been downloading apps, watching videos and playing games for no cash. How about doing the same thing and getting paid, right?

Rewards For AppTrailers

In AppTrailers, you’ll get the opportunity to check out other apps with its trailers, watch videos, and play trivia games. To get your points, all you have to do is watch videos and play games. These simple things can give you points. At times, the games or the videos will offer additional rewards if you download, watch, and play other apps. It’s up to you if you want to do it, but at times, one game downloaded and played is worth 875 points. It’s huge since 1000 points can provide an estimate of $1, according to reviews. The points will be awarded to you once you finish the game or the trailer.

Anyway, AppTrailers will convert your points into cash. You can withdraw that in Paypal. If you like an Amazon gift card, you can redeem your points and exchange it.

Note: If you choose the Paypal option, then, you need to have a verified Paypal account. It has to be connected with a verified bank account. Doing this will not cost you a cent, and it’s relatively easy.

All in all they are legit. I've been making a few bucks with AppTrailers in the past and overall the experience was pleasant. As mentioned aboved you won't get rich with this provider but its a easy task. I mean all you have to do is download the Apptrailers APK and then watch some trailers. I use it on my iphone and sometimes I just make a few bucks while commuting to work. In general I am a big fan of everything I can do on the phone so App Trailers is one of the few providers that I use regularly to make some extra income. One thing you should NOT do is run a apptrailers bot. I heard about a few cases where people tried to game the system and then got banned. Of course you will lose all your earnings if they catch you cheating them so just don't do it! Long story short but if you try to cheat them you get banned. If you watch your trailers and do it in a normal way you will get paid! I received a bunch of payments from them already.

Long story short AppTrailers is not a scam. They pay you for watching trailers for other apps and I made some money with them before ( I also found a few good apps I am still using actually ).

I use their app on android and never had any issues. Runs smooth and they pay fairly well for the task you're doing. You're literally get paid for watching trailers ( and let's be honest sometimes we don't even look at the screen when we do it ).

It's not one of my main beermoney makes but I use them a couple days a week. Usually when I have some idle time during my commute or when I sit on the toilet. To be honest the trailers can be also quite entertaining sometimes. What I like most about them is that they literally never run out of videos to watch ( at least I haven't reached that limit yet and don't know anybody who did). While a lot of survey sites run out of surveys to do from time to time this site always has some stuff to do and allows you to make money whenever you need it.

All in all they are legit and I would def recommend them. Btw I'm also quite active on reddit and did some research and couldn't find any negative things about Apptrailers. Try them :)

I came across this app about 4 months ago. The concept is simple. You get paid to watch videos. Now, these are not cat videos, they are trailers for new apps. Basically, each time you watch a video on the app, you get points. When you get enough points, you can redeem your points for rewards such as gift cards and cash. That simple!

App Trailers is a legit earning opportunity to make some extra money and is definitely not a scam. You can earn up to $5 per day. How much you earn totally depends on the effort and time you give. Moreover, if you don’t have money to start new but stable venture then after spending a few months, you could earn some money that may be invested there.

Get paid to watch game trailers? Why, yes please!

If I had my way, I would do this every single day. I love games - all aspects of them so yeah, even the trailers! I’m weird, I know. Which is why while others find those short clips annoying but necessary to earn more bonus points or coins in a game, I actually enjoy getting information on even more games I can play in the future.

So when I stumbled upon AppTrailers, I was excited to start watching videos and get paid for doing it. Since I already watch a ton of that stuff anyway, I figured why not monetize it? So I downloaded the AppTrailers app on my phone and got cracking. That was around the middle of last year, and here’s what I have to say about it, so far:

The Good:
  • It’s free and easy to install. Easy-peasy lemon breezy.
  • It’s not just game trailers that are available here for viewing. I also got to view movie trailers, music videos, and some previews of TV shows.
  • Most of the videos are digestible in half a minute, so they don’t take up too much of my time.
  • There’s an option to redeem points in either cash or gift cards. Awesome!
  • I can cash out via PayPal.
  • They pay pretty fast.
  • There’s a referral program!
The Bad:
  • The minimum trigger amount for payment is 500 points which are just the equivalent of 50 cents. You can choose to cash out right away if you achieve that but honestly, why withdraw loose change ASAP?
  • You can choose to redeem a $5 gift card instead, but that will require 5000 points which is a lot of 30-second videos to watch (at 5 points per video).
  • I have to admit, even with my eagerness to stay glued to my phone to watch videos, it can get pretty rote and boring.
The Bottomline:

It’s a legit app because I have gotten paid….BUT. The amount of money or gift card rewards here is pretty much the equivalent of getting a ground score of loose pennies after someone with a hole in their pocket drops them on the street. I like the premise of this app, but not the hoops I have to jump through to get rewarded for watching videos.

+1 to what everyone else is saying about AppTrailers. It’s a legit way to make a passive income, but the payout you’ll be getting is pretty darn low… so low in fact that I’m not even sure if this counts as beer money. Peanut money is more like it! (Although, depending on your location, peanuts may actually cost more than beer, haha)

I’m also honestly not a fan of the fact that you need to download an app onto your phone (I prefer rewards sites that have mobile-responsive designs). I guess I get sort of paranoid that I’m being watched by the company that made the app. But that’s probably just me.

But having said that, I still think AppTrailers is worth using. I’ve tried this app and have had an overall positive experience. I can recommend AppTrailers for two reasons:

1. The content is pretty entertaining. Since the app shows trailers, it’s easier to watch the videos. Not all the trailers will suit your interests 100%, but hey, it’s still better than watching an actual ad, right?

2. It’s passive income. True, your earnings on AppTrailers won’t be that high, but you can at least watch trailers while doing other stuff, like chores or even other earning methods. So it’s really easy to fit into your schedule.

Chiming in on this AppTrailers review though I’m late to the game. I figured, since I carry my phone everywhere that I might as well give this one a spin. After a couple of months trying it out, I have to say it’s just an okay experience. I mean, I do get points for my little word puzzle games when I watch those 5 to 30 second videos - enough points for me not to feel stupid for figuring out the anagram of certain words haha! But AppTrailers promises more than that - in cash and gift cards, to be specific.

I looked at the menu of gift cards to be had and liked what I saw. Sephora is a favorite of my wife’s and daughter’s, while Amazon and iTunes are ones my son and I particularly like. Plus, you can get paid via PayPal here which is always a plus in my book.

But after some time trying it out, I felt my brain cells dying :(

I mean, it’s one thing to view ads because of instant gratification (AKA said points to boost hints for certain games I play on my phone). It’s another to watch them on after the other until you can’t get certain song ads out of your head for an entire day. And at the end of the day, as others have already stated here, I only earned the equivalent of loose change. I’m keeping on it only to earn some sweet gift cards for my family members, but after that I doubt if I will make this a regular thing.
